Frequently asked questions

Where do you teach?

All lessons are currently held at Paddington Skatepark. For now, this is our only regular location.

If we add more locations in the future, they’ll be announced on our website and socials.

What ages do you teach?

We coach skaters aged 5–15 years old.

We’re also happy to take 4 year old's provided they’re able to listen, follow instructions, and stay engaged in a group setting.

If you’re unsure whether your child is ready, feel free to reach out.

What skill levels do you offer?

We currently offer three lesson levels:

Level 1 – First-Time Beginners
Perfect for brand new skaters. We cover balance, foot placement, stance, pushing, rolling, stopping, turning, and small ramps.

Level 2 – Beginner Progression
For skaters who can already roll around confidently. This level focuses on skatepark skills, ramps, flow, and building confidence.

Level 3 – Intermediate
For skaters ready to progress further with trick development, skatepark lines, and refining technique.

Do you offer private lessons?

Yes — private lessons are available on Tuesdays only at Paddington Skatepark which you can book directly throughthe website.

Do I need to book multiple lessons or can I book one at a time?

We use a flexible single lesson booking system.

There are no term commitments — you can book sessions one at a time, whenever it suits you.

What if my child is nervous or has never skated before?

That’s totally normal — and exactly what Level 1 is for. We take a patient, encouraging approach and help each skater build confidence at their own pace.

Many kids start out nervous and quickly grow in confidence once they realise they’re supported and not being rushed.

Knee pads and elbow pads are strongly recommended, especially for beginners.

If you’re unsure what setup to get, we’re happy to offer advice.

What happens if it rains?
